War Commander: Rogue Assault
Introduction
The objective of this project was to develop a game website for WCRA using a CMS platform. The website provides players with access to game-related information such as tips, news, and weekly events. To enhance the user experience, the website utilizes the popular Bootstrap grid system to ensure optimal responsiveness.
Role and challenge
I collaborated closely with the graphic artist, marketing manager, and creative director. Working alongside the creative director, I shared and refined my ideas while obtaining the necessary graphic assets from the artist. Additionally, I utilized Adobe After Effects to create engaging animations that added dynamism to the website.
I also collaborated with the marketing manager to gain insights into user preferences and determine the required pages for the game site. The primary challenge of this project was to create a comprehensive style guide and design a highly interactive website featuring numerous visually captivating animations. Furthermore, I implemented a content management system (CMS) feature, allowing the project manager to easily update and modify the website’s content.
The most intricate aspect was customizing the CMS specifically for the marketing manager, enabling them to independently upload and edit content without requiring assistance from the designer or developer. This seamless integration of design, animation, and user-friendly CMS ensured an interactive and engaging experience for the game site’s visitors.

The War Commander: Rogue Assault style guide has been developed to give the game a rough and rugged appearance that reflects the game’s war zone setting. The style guide features military-inspired colors such as shades of green and gold that create a visually striking and cohesive look and feel for the game. The design elements in the style guide have been carefully selected to provide a consistent and immersive gaming experience for players, while maintaining a clear and intuitive interface that enhances gameplay. Our approach to the style guide is to deliver a visually compelling experience that captures the essence of the game’s theme and engages players in an exciting and immersive way.
Interactive elements and CMS access
WCRA has been designed to captivate players upon arrival with interactive elements that create an immersive gaming experience. Our visually compelling interface prioritizes speedy performance through lightweight CSS code. Additionally, we developed a seamless process for the marketing manager to upload daily key art that automatically adjusts to fit different sections of the site.
UI Design

We have incorporated engaging elements such as in-game videos and animations that are seamlessly integrated throughout the page and each component.
